It's not the assets it's the policy..trust me! Mexican consular officials walking into detention centers and dictating what we should do. Then raping, killing or just robbing when the illegals are returned to Mexican soil. Find a body the next day you just turned over to Mexican Authorities so they would be protected and tell me our policy is good. Watch a transvestite hang on to a railroad bridge because they don't want to be arrested here but Mexican Officials are ready to shoot and then they are floating the next morning in the Rio Grande. Watch a Mexican woman come across the Rio grande on an inner tube after paying a lot of money. Her legs are spread and she is in labor because she knows if her child is born here it is a US Citizen regardless of the fact she is not and broke our laws. Then having to help deliver that child and never have the same view of where it came from EVER again! Fighting cartels smuggling that have more weapons than you because people want the focus on sensitivity and you have to be a social counselor.
Stop the incentive to come here illegally and you stop the corruption. We have had multiple amnesties and they have never worked, they add fuel to the fire. They chase agents so they get arrested and can have legal status after having no respect for our laws. Throwing good money after bad policy makes no sense. Give Agents authority needed to protect border and realize its not all sunshine and roses. The stories of what really happens on that border would make a lot of bleeding hearts shut up if they knew the truth not just their interpretation! Protect the Agents from Mexican Federali Border Incursion and their support of the illicit narcotic trade and alien smuggling. Been in the engagements. Not a fairytale. For that matter protect the USBP Agents from Pres. OBAMA and his Fast & Furious Operation which provided confiscated weapons to criminals and resulted directly in the death of 1 USBP Agent and numerous others, not to mention indirect or collateral damage.
